About me
I am a heritage architect and planner based in Paris, France. I hold a MSc cum laude in Architectural Design and History from the Politecnico di Milano (Italy), and a Bachelor of Architectural Design from the University of Queensland (Australia).
I have 4 years of experience as a heritage architect and planner. Between 2020 and 2023, I was a junior officer at the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, working on the conservation and management of historic cities. Prior to joining UNESCO, I worked as a heritage officer at the Brisbane City Council (Australia), and research and teaching assistant at the University of Queensland and Griffith University, working on digital documentation of heritage sites and typological analysis. I also gained work experience in the Italian Ministry of Culture (Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape, Mantova) and in architectural practice (ETS Architects, Project Leaders). Besides my professional and academic experience, I am an active member of civil society. As the president of the European Students’ Association for Cultural Heritage, I coordinate a youth-led network of more than 700 members from more than 40 countries. As Council Member of Europa Nostra, I promote youth inclusion in heritage. In 2020, I successfully argued for the inclusion of the remains of the Phoenician and Roman city of Lacipo in the Red List of Spanish Heritage in Danger, leading to an increase in funds dedicated to its preservation and an improved state of conservation. |
